Yellow leaves are a sign, not a disease. Look for the cause.
Common causes
- Overwatering: soil stays wet, leaves yellow and soft
- Underwatering: soil dry, leaves yellow and crispy
- Not enough light: older leaves yellow and drop
- Natural aging: an occasional lower leaf yellowing is normal
